The Atlanta Hawks opened their 2024-25 season at State Farm Arena on Wednesday evening, where Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane performed for the crowd during halftime. The trap rapper has released 26 albums, was nominated for a Grammy in 2020, and released his autobiography in 2017. Not only were fans treated to the performance, but the Hawks beat the Brooklyn Nets 120-116. Here, check out the scenes photographer Perry Julien captured at the halftime show.
