Proud of its growing network of members, the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) recently held its annual Installation and Awards Ceremony at the Omni Hotel at The Battery on January 23, 2025. At this highly-anticipated event, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour followed by the ceremony where the GAHBA 2025 officers and board members were sworn in and the association recognized its 2024 winners. During the ceremony, Kerry White with HomeQuest Properties, Inc. was honored as the 2024 Council Chair of the Year!
2024 Council Chair of the Year
As Chairwoman of the Professional Women in Building (PWB) council, White launched the PWB Mentor Program and organized the “BT-PAC Your Purse” fundraiser. Her leadership during the Membership Drive brought in five new members. Kerry’s career includes numerous accolades, and she continues to serve her community through various initiatives. With an unwavering commitment to leadership, mentorship, and excellence, she has left an indelible mark on both their industry and community.
A trailblazer within the industry, Kerry White was also previously awarded Sales Person of the Year and Sales Manager of the Year at the 2015 and 2017 coveted OBIE Awards, respectively, presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council.
A highly-applauded award, the GAHBA found it challenging to give out just one Council Chair of the Year award at this year’s ceremony due to the quality of leadership and devotion these chairpersons exhibited, which is why Kerry White also shares this honor with Jordon Tench with O’Dwyer Properties. The GAHBA has seven active, dynamic councils that provide educational and networking opportunities for several of the diverse special interests of our members.
