The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) recently held its annual Installation and Awards Ceremony at the Omni Hotel in the Battery. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour followed by the ceremony, during which the GAHBA’s 2025 officers and board members were sworn in and 2024 award winners were recognized. At this year’s ceremony, Bill Lisecki with Adams Homes was recognized as the 2025 Spike Award winner. Congratulations to Bill Lisecki on this incredible win!
The Spike Award
New member recruitment is vital to the GAHBA’s growth and stability, making it the association’s core driving force. Those who actively recruit, known as ‘spikes’ in our association, are highly valued for their contributions. Member retention and recruitment are paramount to ensuring the GAHBA’s continued success. The prestigious Spike Award recognizes the member with the highest number of new recruits in the preceding year.
The Spike Award honors the member with the highest number of new member recruits in a calendar year. As the 2024 GAHBA President, Lisecki recruited 12 new members, including 10 during the Membership Drive. The accumulation of Spike credits stands as a testament to his ongoing efforts in supporting the GAHBA’s advocacy initiatives. Furthermore, Lisecki’s outstanding achievement in recruiting new members throughout 2024 underscores his instrumental role in fostering the growth and vibrancy of our association.
Lisecki was also an integral part behind the 2021 recognition of Adams Homes as 2020 Builder of the Year!
