A veteran in the construction industry, Whitmire’s extensive experience as a principal in land development, homebuilding, lending and brokerage firms, makes him a valuable addition to SRP Lending.

Whitmire is known for his keen focus on financial and operational execution of business plans, evidenced by multiple struggling businesses he counseled to success during the “Great Recession.” He also owns and operates several businesses, such as MTW Companies, LLC., which specializes in consulting for business owners, MTW Realty, LLC., a real estate brokerage for land and tax-favored transactions and MTW Cabinetry, LLC., which supplies custom cabinetry for the residential real estate sector. Whitmire is also passively invested in a restaurant group, student housing and a bank.
Beyond the workplace, he is heavily involved in his community. Whitmire served as a member of the Board of Directors for an orphanage and senior center for three years and Executive Mentor for over 20 years. He is an avid musician and often performs at church and with various bands. He currently serves as a Board Member of Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association where he additionally serves as a Continuing Education Instructor. In 2022, he was honored as Council Chair of the Year for his contributions as Co-Chair of the Builder/Developer/Lender Council.
Whitmire enjoys spending time with his wife, Ladan and their son, Thomas. He believes in life-long learning and loves traveling with his family.
