Lo-Life legend Thirstin Howl The 3rd returns with a new video drop.  World renown for his braggadocious and witty wordplay, fans may be surprised how soulful and personal the new track “Our Mama MGV” is.

Watch the official video for

“Our Mama MGV” ft. Rebecca Billips

Produced by Statik Selektah the track is a dedication to Rebecca Billips (who also appears on the track and in the video) founder of the non-profit organization Power Of Hope NYC.  Speaking on his relationship with Rebecca, Thirstin said “she was always my neighbor in the Marcus Garvey Village of Brownsville, Brooklyn.  As sweet and as welcoming as she is to anyone in need, she is still a thug at heart and she and her large family are well respected figures in the neighborhood.  My fondest memory of her is when she sang at my mother’s funeral (they were close as well).”  Rebecca has fought breast cancer several times and with her Power Of Hope NYC organization she aims to create a safe and supportive space for those whose lives were affected by cancer.

“Our Mama MGV” appears on Thirstin Howl The 3rd’s newest album The Last Shall Be Thirst, which is out now via streaming platforms.  The album features work by Rampage The Last Boy Scout (Flipmode Squad), DV Alias KhrystYoung Hump (Digital Underground), Tash (Tha Alkaholiks), SnaggapusDana DaneMC SupernaturalPsycho LesVaronaBeme MystiqueDJ MuggsDJ HeronStu Bangas and Giovane Platone & OG Bigg Dabb.
