NEW ALBUM A PROPHECY IN PURGATORY ANNOUNCED FOR OCTOBER 3, 2025
August 29, 2025 (Los Angeles, CA) Continuing to be a positive influence for the entire Hip-Hop community, X-Raided links up with C-Bo for the inspiring new single and music video “Soldier” out now via Strange Music. Listen HERE and watch the music video HERE. This latest single also marks the announcement of X-Raided’s next eagerly awaited album, A Prophecy In Purgatory, slated for release on October 3, 2025.
X-Raided and C-Bo volley back and forth over a commanding, guitar-laden beat as if they are orating directly to the next generation. “’Soldier’ is more than just a record, it’s a statement. C-Bo and I came up together in South Sacramento during a period of extreme hardship for urban communities across the United States of America, where Reaganomics, the War on Drugs and the War on Crime resulted in mass incarceration and distrust for the system.” X states, “It was under those conditions that we sharpened our skill as rappers and survived everything the streets, the conditions of the country and the industry threw at us. This track represents the resilience, loyalty, and warrior spirit that’s always defined us. It’s for everyone who’s ever had to fight for their place in this world and refused to quit.” The track ends with X-Raided’s poignant call that “it’s time for unification.”
Regarding his latest project, X-Raided explains, “’A Prophecy in Purgatory’ is the most personal and powerful album I’ve ever created. It represents the years I spent trapped between who I was and who I would become. This project is about transformation, redemption, and destiny. “Soldier” follows X-Raided’s latest drop “Still Outside” with Mozzy which made a huge statement for their home of Sacramento and touts a similar message of unity to “Soldier”. Listen HERE. Earlier in his album rollout, X-Raided collaborated with Tech N9ne on “Damnation.” It has already reeled in over half-a-million streams and 1.1 million YouTube views on the music video. It arrived on the heels of “Outside (Three Kings),” which united X-Raided with a cohort of fellow NorCal icons—Brotha Lynch Hung and C-Bo. It has just begun to gain traction with over 385k YouTube views on the audio. Receiving acclaim, Underground Hip Hop Blog urged, “witness three kings reclaim their throne.”
It landed in the wake of “Queen of Hearts.” The latter has exploded with 2.6 million YouTube views on the music video in less than a month. Plus, Vibe touted it among “New Hip-Hop Music To Ride And Vibe To.”
“Queen of Hearts” continued a prolific streak for the rapper, landing on the heels of “Hail Mary.”
