Atlanta magazine and GEORGIA DESIGN are partnering once again with Design Galleria Kitchen and Bath Studio to present Kitchens for a Cause, a curated tour of kitchens that will benefit Meals on Wheels Atlanta. The six kitchens on tour this year—all of which are located with the Atlanta communities of Buckhead and Sandy Springs—feature upscale design, innovative storage, multi-functional work surfaces, and state-of-the-art appliances.
The kitchens will be open for viewing on Saturday, October 4, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.. The tour is self-guided so that attendees can visit each home at their own pace. Visitors will be inspired by the craftsmanship of local architects, builders, and kitchen and interior designers, and will have the opportunity to view the latest styles in cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, flooring, lighting, appliances, and other practical and decorative elements of kitchen design.

Three admission levels are available: general admission is $45; VIP admission, which also includes entry to a cocktail reception immediately following the kitchen tour at the Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove Showroom, is $85; and VIP admission + signed book, which includes the tour and cocktail reception as well as a signed copy of Quintessential Kitchens and Collaborations by Matthew Quinn, is $150. Home addresses will be provided upon purchase.
“We are thrilled to once again co-sponsor the Kitchens for a Cause event,” said Sean McGinnis, president and publisher of Atlanta magazine and GEORGIA DESIGN. “This tour represents the very best in kitchen design, and the proceeds benefit one of Atlanta’s busiest and most needed nonprofit organizations.”
