HGTV Home Picks Quietude
HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams reveals Quietude as its 2025 Color of the Year. Quietude exudes quiet luxury with its minty pastel shade, reminiscent of spa interiors.
As part of the Naturally Refined Collection, this softer shade is joined by eight complimentary colors such as Nutshell, Spiced Cider and Sequin that fuse natural hues with modern style.
Valspar Choose Encore
Valspar went with a shade of blue again this year, opting for a unique mix of cobalt and navy. With its announcement, “Blue is making a comeback,” Valspar presents Encore as a bold but approachable hue.
Encore pairs well with two other Valspar selections, the neutral Lavender Escape and earth-toned Sprig of Sage. The brightness of this year’s pick embodies the classic nature of blue with newfound distinction.

Pantone is likely to make its pick in mid-December.
