Local builder renovates home at no cost for two-time breast cancer patient
Artisan Built Communities, a leading local home builder, is proud to announce a community initiative to support a local family facing significant challenges. The builder is undertaking a complete home renovation project for Holly, a courageous woman battling stage IV breast cancer for the second time.
“We are honored to have the opportunity to give back to this deserving family,” said Stephen Haines, President of Artisan Built Communities. “By providing a safe and comfortable home, we hope to bring some joy and peace to Holly and her family during this challenging time. At Artisan Built, we believe it is our responsibility to do well so that we can do good.”
Holly’s House, a 35-year-old residence, has suffered from extensive water damage, mold and structural issues. These problems have compounded the family’s emotional and financial burdens during this difficult time.
To alleviate these hardships, Artisan Built Communities, with the support of numerous trade and industry partners, is transforming Holly’s house into a safe, comfortable and inspiring space. The renovation includes complete interior demolition, mold remediation, structural repairs, new plumbing and electrical systems, insulation, drywall, paint, flooring, interior finishes and more.
The goal is to complete the renovation and return the home to the family by December 23, just in time for the Christmas holiday.
