Guitarist and singer-songwriter Johnny Marr played to a sold-out crowd at the Eastern on Thursday evening. Marr, who rose to fame as the guitarist and co-songwriter of The Smiths, has also collaborated with many other bands including The Pretenders, Modest Mouse, and The Cribs before embarking on his solo career.
Sharing the bill with Johnny Marr was James, an English rock band formed in 1982. They disbanded in 2001 but then reunited in 2007 with lead singer Tim Booth. James has released 18 studio albums, including their latest, Yummy. Here, check out the scenes photographer Perry Julien captured at the show.
