ATLANTA—Bishop Gary Hawkins, Sr., founder of Voices of Faith Church (VOF), is marking his 31st pastoral anniversary with a weeklong celebration that will culminate with special worship services on Sunday, Oct. 19, at VOF’s main campus in Stone Mountain (Gwinnett County) and Conyers (Rockdale County).
VOF has five campuses across metro Atlanta and one in his hometown, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The festivities kicked off on Wednesday with an in-person Empowerment Night and continued Friday evening with bowling, bandanas and blessings.
A crowd of members and guests attended the “Bowling with the Bishop” pizza night, which was held at Bowlero Lilburn Bowling Alley. Participants represented their respective teams with brown, gold, cream, and orange bandanas, reflecting the fall-themed color scheme chosen for this year’s celebration. The event’s coordinator, Deaconess Adrienne Ware, said the colors will be worn by the congregation on Sunday.
At the bowling event, Bishop Hawkins, sported a gold bandana, while his wife, First Lady Pamela Hawkins, wore one that was cream colored. Their youngest son, Garrison, wore orange, the color worn by the winning team.

Reflecting on 31 years of ministry, Bishop Hawkins said that he feels truly blessed.
“It’s truly humbling to see how God has guided this ministry for more than three decades,” said Bishop Hawkins. “Every year, I’m reminded that our strength comes from the faith that we have in God. We’ve seen God move in so many ways through this ministry. I feel so blessed to pastor a ministry that is so supportive and loving.”
First Lady Pamela Hawkins expressed her gratitude for her husband and his leadership at Voices of Faith and in the community.
“Thirty-one years of preaching, praying, and persevering–and I’ve been blessed to stand by at least a third of it. Your heart for God and His people continues to inspire me daily,” she said. “We’re inviting the community to join us as we celebrate 31 years of powerful ministry and purpose.”

Sunday’s worship services will be held at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. at the Stone Mountain campus, 2500 Rockbridge Road S.W. The worship service in Conyers will be held at 11:30 a.m., 1290 Sigman Road. All are invited.
