Sir Paul McCartney brought his Got Back tour to State Farm Arena last night for the first of two sold-out shows at the arena. The former Beatle and Wings leader thrilled the adoring crowd with a 35-song set lasting just under 3 hours, performing Beatles and Wings classics along with his solo work. He honored John Lennon and George Harrison on several songs along with accompanying visuals. From the fans who were devoted to The Beatles in the ’60s to their children (and grandchildren), McCartney left no doubt as to his musical genius and the enduring love of his music. Here, check out the scenes photographer Perry Julien captured at the show.
