For over 24 years, HomeAid Georgia has worked to help people experiencing or at risk of homelessness build new lives through construction, community engagement and education. HomeAid Georgia’s annual awards celebrate supporters who go above and beyond to help build a future without homelessness. This year we honored the HomeAid 2025 award winners at the Greater Atlanta Home Builders’ holiday party.
Volunteer of the Year: Northview Church
Northview Church is recognized as the 2025 Volunteer of the Year for its outstanding service and faith in action. The organization embodies what it truly means to be community-driven—consistently showing up, stepping in and lending a hand wherever it is needed.

Since 2021, Northview Church has participated in eight Care Days and packed and distributed 7,075 Care Kits. Its efforts have contributed more than $125,000 in donation value, demonstrating an unwavering dedication to service and a deep heart for the community. The church’s continued involvement reflects the powerful impact of its mission extending beyond its walls and into the broader community.

Trade Partner of the Year: Sherwin-Williams
Sherwin-Williams has played a vital role in transforming spaces through consistent generosity, providing labor and materials at no cost across multiple HomeAid initiatives. To date, the company has contributed more than $125,000 in donations, reflecting a deep investment in the mission and the people it serves.

In 2025 alone, Sherwin-Williams donated more than $57,900 in paint materials to seven service providers, with its largest contribution supporting Georgia Works. These efforts have brightened communities by enhancing environments and uplifting those who call them home.
Builder of the Year: Taylor Morrison
Taylor Morrison has been a steadfast supporter of HomeAid Georgia since 2017, consistently advancing all three pillars of the organization’s mission: construction, community engagement and education. Its contributions in 2025 alone demonstrate its deep commitment to building stronger communities.
This year, Taylor Morrison made a significant impact as HomeAid Builder Captain for North Georgia Angel House’s new Administration and Reception Center, which was dedicated in July. The team also drove major progress as Builder Captain for Breakthru House, slated for completion early next year. Beyond these projects, the company continues to provide generous financial support as a fundraising sponsor and regularly participates in Care Days to offer hands-on help.
Among the many outstanding builders supporting HomeAid, Taylor Morrison stood out in 2025 for nearly completing not one but two major projects—an achievement that reflects both dedication and exceptional leadership.
