Today, one of the leading voices in Hip-Hop released the long-awaited trilogy installment of his legendary series with Doe Or Die III; which is now available at all DSPs via Mass Appeal.  You can also watch the new video for “Uniqueness” below.

Doe Or Die III includes collaborations and production from Jadakiss, Mumu Fresh, Amar Noir (AZ’s son), Bink!, Mike N Keys and Nas on the aptly titled “Surprise.” \

“Doe Or Die started from my aspiration for hip-hop in 1995.  30 years ago.  Through all the bumps and bruises, I not only stood the test of time, but humbly, I excelled.” AZ humbly exerts.  “Connecting with Mass Appeal, with my comrade Nas, is the beautiful storm, because now we can do the business as men that we couldn’t do when we were younger.  Doe Or Die III.

The album commemorates a true full-circle moment, as it reunites AZ with the legacy that first introduced him to the world; from being the sole guest feature and the first voice heard on Nas’ seminal Illmatic, to carving out a Hall of Fame career as a solo artist, Doe Or Die III serves as a master class in veteran lyricism, bridging the gap between the golden era and the modern landscape.

Originally launched with his 1995 debut, Doe Or Die helped establish AZ as one of rap’s most technically gifted, virtuosic and respected voices. With Doe Or Die III, he completes the trilogy with the same intentionality and discipline that have defined his legacy — not chasing moments, but cementing them; and creating new ones.

Three decades and counting…  Doe Or Die III is not just a continuation — it’s a culmination. A refined statement from an artist who has remained the essence of cool, calculated, and essential.

AZ’s Doe Or Die III is now available via Mass Appeal.
