Vertical construction is moving forward quickly at Nestledown Farm in Huntsville, Alabama, with slabs poured, framing underway and several buildings dried in. Build-to-rent (BTR) general contractor Jim Chapman Construction Group (JCCG) is developing the 29-acre, 201-attached townhome BTR community located on Zierdt Road, adjacent to Redstone Arsenal and less than two miles from the Martin Road entrance / West Gate.

Horizontal land development started in September 2023, and JCCG anticipates the first residents will move in Spring 2025.

“Our one-stop-shop for institutional investors to build turnkey BTR developments is on track and on budget at Nestledown Farm,” said Jim Chapman, President of JCCG. “Staying on time and communicating progress contributes to much-appreciated ROI for our investment partners.”

As the project’s general contractor, JCCG developed the lots and is building the homes and amenities. With vertical construction well underway, the amenities are also in process.

Home Plans

As a master-on-main community, Nestledown Farm caters to singles, active adults and seniors. The quiet lock-and-leave community features a maintenance-free lifestyle.

The rental community offers renters five Ranch Cottages For Rent floorplans — Frisco, Fresno, Richmond, Reno and Tulsa – with a choice of a one or two-car attached garage. These two- and three-bedroom homes balance contemporary flair with traditional warmth and range from 1,020 to 1,466 square feet.

Providing a move-in ready experience, all homes include stainless steel appliances, window blinds and the added convenience of an in-unit washer and dryer. Finishes include luxury LVT flooring on the main level and granite countertops.

Nestledown Farm Amenities

Community amenities include a 4,000-square-foot clubhouse, swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, dog park, around-the-clock emergency maintenance, illuminated sidewalks, a secure gated entrance and dedicated onsite property management.

Renters will enjoy the great location with easy access to downtown Huntsville, just one mile from Publix and roughly four miles to Town Madison’s walkable destination community featuring dining, shopping and entertainment.
