Single-Family Homes Under Construction at Trillium at Wire Park in Watkinsville!

Homebuyers can now reserve a lot or put a presale contract down on a single-family home at Trillium at Wire Park in Watkinsville, Georgia. Priced from the high $600,000s, these 46 homes are being developed by Wire Park Builders, a joint venture between Bluepoint Construction Southeast and Monte Hewett. This milestone follows the recent completion of the mixed-use community’s single-family homesites, with construction on homes set to begin this month.

“At Wire Park, we’re offering more than just a place to live – it is a community where residents can truly embrace a vibrant, walkable lifestyle,” said Monte Hewett, president of Monte Hewett Homes. “With expansive greenspaces, family-friendly events and a thriving mix of shops and activities right outside your door, the chance to secure the perfect single-family homesite is one you don’t want to miss.”

Wire Park offers four single-family home plans, including the Azaelea, Dogwood, Jasmine and Laurel, featuring two elevation options for each. Home designs range from 2,514- to 4,469-square-feet of living space with many structural options available to allow homebuyers to personalize their new home to best suit their preferences and living needs. Moreover, all single-family homes face greenspace and feature alley-loaded, rear-entry garages for a manicured community aesthetic.

The Dogwood home design is the smallest of the plans and ranges from 2,514- to 4,024-square-feet of thoughtfully designed living space with three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and a three-car garage. The primary suite on the main level features a spa-like bath and an expansive walk-in closet.

The remaining open-concept main level seamlessly connects the common living spaces, with the gourmet kitchen’s spacious island overlooking the dining and living areas and opening onto a terrace that pairs the indoors with the outdoors. The upper level boasts two secondary bedrooms, two baths, a flex space, and an oversized bonus room, perfect for a home office, gym or home theatre.

The Azalea, another single-family home design at Wire Park, features three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and a two-car garage with golf-cart extension. The main level boasts a convenient owner’s suite off the rear entry, and the gourmet kitchen features an oversized, functional island overlooking the dining area and leading into the cozy living space. The primary suite, dining area and living space feature access to the oversized terrace, connecting the indoors to the outdoors from virtually anywhere in the home. A massive bonus room and flex space accompany the two secondary bedrooms and two baths on the upper level.

Wire Park is located at 1725 Electric Avenue in Watkinsville, with the model townhome open daily for tours. To schedule a visit or place a $5,000 reservation on a homesite, call 706-818-4779 or email [email protected].

The Towns at Wire Park Features 21 Two-Story Townhomes.

Wire Park Builders, a joint venture between Blue Point Construction Southeast and Monte Hewett, announces that construction of the for-sale townhomes at Wire Park is underway.

The Towns at Wire Park will feature 21 two-story townhomes with three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths across 2,170 square feet of thoughtfully designed living space. Priced from the upper $500,000s, townhome designs offer 2,170-square-feet of impressive living space with three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and two-car, rear-entry garages. The newly decorated model townhome highlights a staged primary suite, a spacious main living area and a beautifully appointed courtyard.

Wire Park is a new mixed-use development that is walkable to downtown Watkinsville. Spreading across 66 acres, the community sits on what was previously the Southwire manufacturing plant, serving as the community’s namesake. Developed by Gibbs Capital, the $80 million project caters to working professionals, young families and recent retirees. It revitalizes the area and transforms it into a vibrant destination that supports the community.

“Gibbs Capital did an exceptional job envisioning and developing Wire Park,” said Monte Hewett, President of Monte Hewett Homes. “Focusing on walkability creates a true neighborhood feel where residents enjoy a slower pace of life afforded by amenities just outside the front door.”

Applauded for its diverse range of experience with mixed-use deals and general contractor projects, Monte Hewett is known for several high-profile Atlanta area communities, including Avalon, St. Andrews, Halcyon and Madison Yards.

Wire Park features expansive greenspace, a public park and event amphitheater and 225,000 square feet of commercial, office and retail space, including the newly relocated Oconee County Public Library. It is also home to the region’s first food hall, The Grid and The Yard at Wire Park, and a nearly 29,000-square-foot indoor baseball training facility. Additionally, the community hosts weekly family-friendly events and activities, including live music, movie nights, food trucks and more.
