Rochester, NY duo Young Black And Gifted drop visuals for their newest single “Prime Time.” Directed by HipHopIzLyfe Beat-Smith Kidd Called Quest and lyricist Azariah get busy with more of that motivation music that they do so well. The duo said of the track “in these days of oversaturation and negativity you have to be your own motivator to keep grinding. Don’t get caught up in a fantasy thinking everything supposed to be easy.”

The first new music from the duo since 2023, Kidd Called Quest has confirmed that this new single will be followed by other singles to gear up for new project. He also said that the music that they are currently creating are “the best we have ever made.”
In the meantime, both are keeping busy with solo releases including Azariah’s Humble And Hungry mixtape last summer, which featured new material and underground classics throughout his career. Kidd Called Quest also recently released new single and video “Ferocious” featuring professional mic bruisers RJ Payne (Philadelphia) and Pretty Bulli (Buffalo, NY).
